TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

1. General 

1.1. These terms and conditions apply to the ‘Gravel Union Shimano Winter Clothing” promotion (the “Promotion”). By participating in the Promotion participants are deemed to have accepted these terms and
conditions.

1.2. The Promotion is organizsd by Gravel Union in co-operation with Shimano Europe B.V. (“Shimano”), High Tech Campus 92, 5656 AG Eindhoven. The Promotion is organised in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance 2014 (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen 2014). Dutch law is applicable on these terms and conditions. 

1.3. There is no entry fee required to enter the Promotion.

2. Participation 

2.1. The promotion is open to persons aged 18 and over, residing in the European Union and the UK. Employees of Gravel Union, Shimano and its affiliated companies and the immediate family members (spouse, children) and any person directly or indirectly involved in the development or administration of the Promotion, are not eligible to participate or win.

2.2. Residents of Bosnia Herzegovina, Italy, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, Portugal and Sweden are excluded from participation in the Promotion. 

2.3. The promotion is only open to Gravel Union members. Non-members can sign up for free here - https://members.gravelunion.cc. Participants have to complete the online survey form in order to be eligible for entry into the prize draw. The online survey form can be found here - https://members.gravelunion.cc/survey-shimano.

2.4. The registration period is open between from the 23 rd November to the 7 th December 2022. Registrations received outside this time frame will be excluded from the Promotion. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 

3. Promotion Rules 

3.1. Participants have to complete the online survey posted here - https://members.gravelunion.cc/survey-shimano. Two winners will be randomly selected from the participants who submitted a fully completed survey form.

3.2. The random selection of the winners will take place before 9 th December 2022. The winners will be notified by email in the same week.

3.3. If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days after being contacted by Gravel Union, the winners is deemed to have rejected the prize and shall no longer be eligible to receive the prize. Shimano shall be entitled to select a new winner.

3.4. Gravel Union reserves the right to withhold the prize if, in accordance with the conditions in paragraph 3, no winners can be appointed before 16 th December 2022.

4. Prize: 

4.1. The winners will receive either a set of Shimano women’s winter clothing or a set of Shimano men’s winter clothing. The delivery of the prize to the winner will be coordinated by Gravel Union. The details of the prize can be found here: https://www.gravelunion.cc/article/shimano-winter-clothing-competition. In the event that particular items are out of stock, then we retain the right to supply an equivalent item of clothing instead.

4.2. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

4.3. The prize winner shall be responsible for paying taxes, if any. 

5. Data Protection 

5.1. Any personal information that participants provide in connection with the Promotion shall be used by Gravel Union to administer this Competition, contact participants, and for the other purposes set forth in Gravel Union’s privacy policy located at https://www.gravelunion.cc/privacy-disclaimerl. By entering this Promotion, you agree to and accept that privacy policy. 

6. Disclaimer: 

6.1. Gravel Union does not accept any liability regarding any damages, of any kind, arising out or related to (participation in) the Promotion. 

6.2. In case of any situation of force majeure Gravel Union reserves the right to withhold the prizes. Gravel Union is not obliged to hand out an alternative prize. 

6.3. Unless the contexts otherwise demands, words importing any gender shall be interpreted to mean any or all genders. 

6.4. Contact details submitted by the participants in order to register for the Promotion will only be used in relation to the Promotion.
